Marija Šerifović, this year's Serbian ambassadress in the Eurovision Song Contest, is currently busy working on the promotional video clip for Molitva. Rumor has it that it is being shot in about 30 different locations all over Serbia. In-between shootings Marija has found the time to participate in Friendly chat, a talk show on popular entertainment RTV Pink channel, which was dedicated to her. Also, Marija received a special award for her outstanding music achievement by the Mega Basket basketball club.

Four more 2007 Eurovision Song Contest participants took part in the Friendly chat via telephone. Dado Topić (Croatia), Stevan Faddy (Montenegro), Karolina Gočeva (FYR Macedonia) and Marija Šestić (B&H) all wished Marija the best in Helsinki. A mini Eurovision voting was organised, where all five participants were asked to vote for each other in Eurovision style. And the winner was Marija Šerifović and Molitva.

On the same day Marija attended an event at the Sumice Sports Centre, where she received the award for outstanding music achievement by the Mega Basket basketball club.

So far we have presented you with the translation of Molitva in English. Following you can find the translation in French as well.

Molitva – Priere

Le ciel le sait aussi bien que moi ;
Combiens des fois j'ai répeté
Que ton nom est ma seule prière
Mais je ne peux mentir à Dieu
pendant que je prie
et je ments si je dit
que je ne t'aime pas

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
