For the fourth year in a row the iconic designs of Ben Morris will be seen in and around this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Ben has been producing his unique characterisations of the Eurovision Artists since 2011. They have been seen on National Television channels in Europe, worn by the Artists themselves, used to raise money for a leukaemia charity and the t-shirts have become a must-have item for many fans.

He took some time out to talk to Robin Scott and explain how the concept became a reality.

Last year he designed a special flag including all the United Kingdom winners, along with Sir Terry Wogan and Graham Norton, which raised much needed funds for the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Charity. This year he is doing the same again and explains this in the video conversation. To go to their website, where you can also enter the draw, please click here.

A few days ago an animation was released which takes this creative and inventive talent to another level. You can see this at the end of our interview.

I attended my first Eurovision Song Contest in 1995, and from 1996 presented daily live reports for radio stations from the event. Since then I have been providing material from everywhere the contest has been held. I also enjoy compiling most of the video materials for three UK ESC events each year. In 2010 I first provided material for esctoday.com.
