The brand new album of Evridiki, the famous Cypriot singer who will represent her country for the third time at the Eurovision Song Contest, will be released today. It will be Evridiki�s thirteenth album and it�s simply called 13.
Besides many brand new songs, seven of which have been writtenby Evridiki hereself, "13" includes Comme ci comme ça,Cyprus' entryat this years Eurovision Song Contest. You canlisten to snippets of the songs nowon the artist's official website www.evridiki.gr . The album will be officialy presented today at 10.00 local time at the popular Greek morning talk show "Kafes me tin Eleni" on Alpha channel.
Evridiki's scheduled appearance in Kiev has been unfortunately cancelled due to a cooking accident that sent Dimitris Korgialas, Evridiki's better half and partner on stage in Helsinki, to hospital. Evridiki, together with the Dutch representative Edsilia Rombley, will be a guest performers at the 12 Points Party Deluxe on Friday 20 April, in Antwerp, Belgium.
Due to Eurovision results of the last year, Cyprus will be competing at the semi-final in order to qualify for the final. Evridiki will perform third at the semi-final.
