Semiha Yankı, the singer who represented Turkey at their Eurovision debut in 1975 with the song Seninle bir dakika, can nowadays be seen in a popular television programme: Bir dilek tut (Make a wish).

The format of the programme, which is broadcast by Fox TV, is Idols-like. Each Saturday young participants get the opportunity to present their singing talents in front of a professional jury consisting of singers Emrah and Deniz Seki and journalist Senay Dudek. The 8 participants are all being coached by famous singers.After 8 weeks a winner is chosen, who will be able to realise his or her dreams. The surprising part of the show is that the participants perform with their coaches together.

Semiha Yankı is coachingthe youngsinger Mehmet. The duo spend lots of time together in order to realise Mehmet’s dreams.
