As the first 1000 votes in the 2007 BigPoll are registered, we can reveal the early predictions say that the semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest belongs to… Turkey and Malta! Who do the esctoday.com readers think will join them in the final?

In what at this stage, is by far the closest BigPoll we have ever seen, the first thousand predictions suggest that the ten qualifiers from the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest semi final are:

1 Turkey
2 Malta
3 Belarus
4 Serbia
5 Cyprus
6 FYR Macedonia
7 Slovenia
8 Switzerland
9 Norway
10 Bulgaria

Those just behind the top ten are Andorra, Georgia, Hungary, Estonia and Moldova. Of the most hotly tipped countries to pass to the final before polls opened, Denmark are currently sitting in 16th place, Latvia in 18th and Israel in 25th position! According to the first results, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania will be in the last three positions.
