Swedish Eurovision Song Contest representatives, and hot favourites according to early betting with the bookmakers, The Ark, will be visiting Finland to perform three concerts in Helsinki in April. They play at Finland's premier rock venue, the Tavastia Klubi on April 17th, 18th and 19th.
The Ark events are already sold out, pointing towards their growing popularity in Finland. They are one of the more commercially successful bands at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The band have already achieved sales success in Sweden, with their first three albums reaching the number one spot. The State of the Ark album was also a top 10 hit in Finland last year and the group will be hoping for a good points haul from this year's host nation.
The band are preparing for the release of their fourth album, Prayer for the weekend, available from 11th April via CDON. The album features their 2007 Eurovision Song Contest entry, The worrying kind.Click here to pre-order your copy.
