Head of the Estonian delegation for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, Juhan Paadam, has expressed his discontent with the lack of information from the organisers of this year's contest.
Juhan Paadam, who was also the Executive Producer for the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest, has told the Estonian tabloid SL Õhtuleht he has no idea how the organising of the contest is going because the Finns have released very littleinformation. "Everything is 'work in process' but based on what we've heard it is very hard to say what is the level of the organisation of the contest. Information released has been very general and superficial," Paadam said. "My idea of good organisation is different. In Estonia we had (in 2002) 3 rough cuts of thevideo postcards to show, the Finns have none but this year there are 42 postcards…"
He also said that there has been some trouble with changing the times for the Estonian rehearsal as the Estonian delegation had wished because Gerly Padar, the Estonian representative, has to perform in a musical on the day of the rehearsal in Estonia. "I know everything is going to work out in the end but… we sent the request on 13th February – so far no response," he added.
Estonia will perform in the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest due to the poor result last year. The semifinal will be held on10th May and the final on12th May in Helsinki, Finland.
