Ukrainian superstar and winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, Ruslana, is set to make an appearance at the International Song Contest in Eilat, Israel, this Thursday and Friday.

While the rest of EBU land is getting whipped up in a Eurovision frenzy, Ruslana is the star guest at the international festival held in Israel's coastal resort this week. She will also have a hand in deciding the winner, being one of the expert panelists on the jury.

The special gig comes in the middle of a busy time for the energetic singer behind Wild Dances as she continues her charity tour of German, which kicked off in Mannheim last week, and will culminate in a big final night in Nüremberg on 8th May. Proceeds from the concerts will go to children's hospitals in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovs’k and L’viv, causes close to Ruslana's heart as she spearheads the project Chernobyl 2006, raising funds for children suffering from radiation damage following the Ukrainian reactor disaster in 1986.
