Get a life-get alive, this year's Austrian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, was composed by Greg Usek- who has produced and remixed for Kylie Minogue, Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Atomic Kitten among others and penned by Austin Howard. It will be performed by Eric Papilaya one of the finalists of the 3rd season of the Austrian talent show Starmania.

Get a life-get alive! was actually created for Anastacia, years ago, but unfortunately the popular singer was diagnosed with breast cancer at the time and she wasn't able to sing it. Eric will not be accompanied by his band in Helsinki and the costumes for the presentation of the song will be designed by high profile British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in collaboration with Swarovski Crystal and the Life Ball committee.
Eurovision-austria.com have got exclusive rights from Universal Austria to play Get A Life studio Version.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
