Armenia’s first representative in the Eurovision Song Contest, Andre, has released his new album My Soul.

This will mark the 6th album for Andre. The album is written by Suren Knyazyan, with arrangements by Nik Egibyan who attempted to represent the country in 2010 with his song Countdown, eventually coming 6th place in the Armenian final where Eva Rivas was crowned.

The album was officially presented on 12 March. Eurovision Song Contest 2011 representative Emmy also attended, giving her well wishes to Andre on the launch of the album. At the event, Andre expressed his excitement for the new album and its lyrics, and promised his fans that videos are coming. Fans were then treated to performances, and CD signing.

In 2006, Andre represented the nation with the song Without your love, achieving 8th place in the Grand Final. He is a well known artist within Armenia, winning Best Male Singer at the Armenian Music Awards 5 consecutive years in a row (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008).
