This year's Dutch representative, Edsilia Rombley, announced today that she will sing in English after all in Helsinki. The English version of Nooit meer zonder jou will be On top of the world. The news has been revealed tonight in The Dutch 8 o'clock news, the NOS Journaal.

Edsilia made her decision during the weekend, as she already told esctoday.com during an exclusive interview last week. "As for the choice of language; actually I'm going to decide about that this weekend. We asked somebody to write an English version of Nooit meer zonder jou, and today (=Friday!) we will hear the result. I have 2 important demands; the lyrics have to be really good and I don't want any of the current power of the song to get lost" she told us last week.

It isn't known yet when the song will be recorded, but as soon as there's more news about the new version of the Dutch entry, esctoday willbring it to you.
