Tonight, a total of 16 acts have competed to get the golden ticket to Copenhagen in the O Melodie Pentru Europa 2014 show. Earlier this week, 2 semi-finals were organised to select the 16 best songs to compete tonight.

After a 3 hour live show on TRM, the national Moldovan broadcaster , the viewers and a jury made of professionals have elected Cristina Scarlat with the song Wild Soul to fly the Moldovan flag at the 59th Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May.

Last year in Malmö, Aliona Moon managed to qualify Moldova for the grand final with her song O mie and finished at a respectable 11th place.
