Tell us about your experience since you won the Slovenian Eurovision preselection EMA and were chosen to represent Slovenia in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest ?

“Well I was really shocked that I won EMA, I wasn't expecting the people to vote for an opera song. I am an opera singer and I have my career in the opera field, I just wanted to experiment in another musical field and give it a try. I still cannot believe that I won, it hasnt hit me yet. Its like living a dream when I think about it and about going to Helsinki. I'm really very happy and its been wonderful.”

What do you think about having an opera song at the Eurovision Song Contest?

“Well I think its now the trend and fashion to have a mixture and fusion of different styles of music. Im glad that opera has found a place in Eurovision and I hope Europe accepts and loves my song.”

What would it mean for you and Slovenia to win the Eurovision Song Contest?

“It would be a great honour both for me and and for my country Slovenia to win the Eurovision. I will go to Helsinki and will give the best of myself. We will try to present the song in the best way possible and give a good performance. I want to have a great time with everyone there!”

Tell us about your career before Eurovision?
