DT (HPRT), the interim Greek channel has confirmed to esctoday.com that the 2014 Greek national final will be held on 11 March at the Acro Music Hall in Athens, Greece.

The 2014 Greek national final will be a co-produced by DT and MAD TV Greece.  A total of 4 acts will battle for the right to defend the Greek colours at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.  The show will be aired live on DT on 11 March. More details regarding the 2014 Greek national final will be released in due course.

The 4 competing entries at the 2014 Greeek Eurovision national final will be premiered on DT  5 March at 19:30 (18:30 CET).

Greece has enjoyed massive success in the Eurovision Song Contest in the last decade accomplishing excellent results, achieving a total of 10 TOP 10 results since 2001, including a victory in 2005. Greece has competed in the Eurovision  final every year since the semifinals system was introduced in 2004.

In 2013 the Thessaloniki based group Koza Mostra represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with Alcohol is free, achieving a 6th place in the final.
