According to the escportugal website, the title of the song produced by Nuno Carvalho is Desta Vez (This Time), which will be performed by Edmundo and Filipa Cardoso.

Edmundo appeared, in 2003, on the 1st edition of the Operação Triunfo programme broadcasted by RTP. Later he became member of DZR'T group which is quite popular among the teenagers as their songs also belong to the soundtrack of Morangos Com Açúcar soap opera broadcasted by the private station TVI.

On the other hand, Filipa is notso famous as Edmundobut she is a strong perfomer of Fado who won the Grande Noite Do Fado contest in 2004. Meanwhile, she released a Cd album called Fragmento do fado.

The song itslef Desta Vez is described as easily identified as a Portuguese song. Nuno Carvalho producersays the songis a merger of several styles of music such as Fado and Electronic music.

As esctoday.com has reported earlier, the show will take place at Sala Tejo of the Atlantic Arena on 10th March and is going to be hosted by Isabel Angelino and Jorge Gabriel, but there might be more hosts as it happened in last year's show.The winner will be selected entirely by televoting, which will last around 30 minutes.

Portugalwill be taking part in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest semi final on 10th May in Helsinki, Finland after Non-Stop failed to qualify for the final last year in Athens.
