The one and only full dress rehearsal for Norway's Melodi Grand Prix final is underway and esctoday.com editor Tom Espen Hansen is reporting live from the Oslo Spektrum hall. Everything is running smoothly before tonight's show, which starts at 20:20 CET. Below you can read up on all the changes from the semi-final performances.
Torhild Sivertsen is sporting a new dress, and it's golden coloured. Jannicke and her dancers have picked up on the colour theme and appear in new golden shoes. Andreas Ljones has indeed improved his gymnastic repetoir with a spectacular backflip, he is also wearing one or two new bruises on his face after one of the practice flips this morning went a little wrong. Jenny Jensen has changed to a faboulus new red dress. These are the main changes we can expect in tonights norwegian final of Melodi Grand Prix.
The winner is very hard to pick this time, in the most varied and arguably best Norwegian final ever. All the artists performed great vocal appearances in the dress rehearsal, and even Infinity sounded a lot better than in their semi final performance.
It seems that all performers really enjoy being in Spektrum, both from their appearances on stage and from the interviews that they have all given to esctoday.com. All of them are working as hard as they can to earn the ticket to Helsinki and are all absolutely focussed on the show which starts in about 90 minutes time.
In the interval act this evening we get to se the choir in a spectacular song that in the end all the artists from the 18 acts join them on the stage. The act before the voting in the golden final we get to see last year's winner, Christine Guldbrandsenin a fabulous performance where she sings songs from her new album, including Alvedansen. As we mentioned in the interview with Christine published earlier today, her entry into the hall is well worth watching out for!
The esctoday.com team here in Oslo can guarantee a spectacular show from Norway this year.
