Right now, the fourth Finnish semi final is held. Another three music acts will present two songs each and the favourite of each singer – chosen by televoting – will move forward to the final next Saturday. No need to tell that the expectations are very high in Finland after Lordi achieved the first victory – and the first top five placing – in the history of the contest last year.

The show

The three singer will perform their songs live. Just like the last three weeks, you can expect former Eurovision Song Contest and Euroviisut performers as special guests who will again perform their songs. As an interval act, the latest Eurovison Song Contest news will be read out – after last week's Super Saturday there will obviously be a lot to be told!

Laura Voutilainen has represented Finland in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest with Addicted to you. She finnished 19th.

LIVE

After a short introduction by the hosts, the first song is now performed.

Laura VoutilainenKosketa mua

The 2002 representative presents a classic ballad in Finnish. The performance (she is wearing a long white dress) is very confident; the piano player also sings a solo part.

Beats & Styles – See the signs

Quiet a strange song – somewhere between rock, pop and hip-hop. The song is illustrated by its lyrics in the background on the video screen. The singers keep clapping their hands and want the audience to be part of the performance. Overall a bit chaotic.

Jan Wilde & Rose Avenue – Rock 'n' roll dreams

The song brings you back to the 1980s. The extraordinary styling and the classic rock performance fit well with the entry.

Time for the first interval act: 1998 Euroviisut contestant Sari Kaasinen performs her song Mielessäni once again. The original performance which brought her a third place is shown on the video screen in the background.

Laura Voutilainen – Take a chance

Laura's two songs couldn't be more different: Take a chance brings nightclub atmosphere on stage: Laura is dressed like her background dancers who include chairs in the performance. It's very well received by the audience. Nevertheless, the songs i a bit repetitive after a while.

Beats & Styles – Take it back

The song is a bit more melodic that the first one. The performance – although they have changed outfits – is similar to the first one. The female singers play a minor role.

Jan Wilde & Rose Avenue – Cinnamon

The outfit of the lead singer has become even more extrordinary: The huge feathers could have been well chosen by Dana International. The song is more quiet and there is no obvious hook when you listen to it for the first time.

The lines are now open. As every week, the latest Eurovision Song Contest news are now read out. After last week's Super Saturday, there will be much to be told…

We can now wait for the results.
