Last year, Christine Guldbrandsen stormed to victory in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix final. She was the only performer to sing a traditional Norwegian song, and the only participant to perform in Norwegian rather than English. Many tipped her to challenge for the Eurovision Song Contest title, but Norway only finished 15th in the final in Athens. A year on, and Christine has a brand new album released this week. She will be a special guest at tonight's final and will be making a breathtaking appearance! During a break from rehearsals, Christine spoke to esctoday.com
It's been quite an exhausting year for Christine Guldbrandsen! From Melodi Grand Prix in Norway and the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, a new studio album and plenty of tours and concerts, Christine is still looking and sounding fabulous. In our exclusive interview Christine talks about the result in Athens, what she has achieved since last May and her plans for the future.
Christine also talks about her appearance tonight, the dress that she will be wearing and why it's not exactly your average cocktail dress! She also talks a little about the grand entrance that she will be making, which is being kept as a surpise, so we won't reveal anything before the show!
