On 23rd February the Cypriot broadcaster will air this year's Eurovision Song Contest entry Comme ci comme ça in a special TV show. Special guests of the show are this year's representatives of Poland, Malta and Belarus.
The first presentation of Evridiki's song Comme ci comme ça, which will be Cyprus' hope at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, will be on 23rd February at the show Cyprus 12 Points, Chypre 12 Points and will be broadcasted by RIK1, RIK SAT and live streaming from RIK'S website. Special guests will be the representatives of Poland (The Jet Set – Time to party), Malta (Olivia Lewis – Vertigo) and Belarus (Dmitry Koldun – Work your magic). The hosts of the show will be anounced next week.
The Cypriot entry is composed by Dimitris Korgialas and the lyricist is Poseidonas Giannopoulos, who has also written the lyrics of Tamta's song With love which is competing this year at the Greek final.
Cyprus made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 and has participated 24 times since then at the Eurovision Song Contest. This year Evridiki will have to compete at the semi-final of 10th May and will try to qualify the country to the final.
