LIVE
After a short introduction, the first entry is performed.
Erna Hrönn Ólafsdóttir – Örlagadís
A pop-rock song. The female lead singer gives a good vocal performance but the overall impression is quiet simple.
Alexander Aron Guðbjartsson – Villtir skuggar
The band is completely dressed in black. The song might be called an average national final mid tempo pop song.
Soffía Karlsson – Júnínótt
A fairytale song and performance in the style of Alvedansen (Norway 2006). The lead singer is wering a white dress with flowers and she obviously likes the song. The voive is pretty quiet sometimes.
Matthías Matthíasson – ðin liggur heim
Another mid-tempo pop song. The lead singer wears a black suit with a blue shirt. In the background, there are four background singers and a guitar player.
Andri Bergmann – Bjarta brosið
The song is similar to the previous one but with a more obvious hook. The singer sits down on the stage during the performance.
Helgi Rafn Ingvarsson – Vetur
In the background there are a cello player and and a piano player. The ballad is very emotionally performed but has no obvious chorus.
Ragnheiður Eiríksdóttir – Ég og heilinn minn
The first rather lively performance of the evening. The singer is wearing a golden overall and dancing on stage, although there might be no real choreography.
Hafsteinn Þórólfsson – Þú tryllir mig
An interesting arrangement: the rock sound is mixed with some soul elements. The lead singer, sitting in a white armchair (in rememberance of Paul Oscar's couch?), wears a black suit.
We can now wait for the results.
