Less than two weeks left until YOHIO will kick off Melodifestivalen 2014 on the stage in Malmö. SVT, the Swedish broadcaster, has recently launched its revamped website with fresh information regarding the upcoming contest.

By visiting the updated website here, you can find information and short videos regarding all 32 participating artists and songs. The website follows the artists step by step and invites you to follow the starts’ own journey through Melodifestivalen. Historical information, as long with information about the contributors, contest rules and more is available.

A question that keeps many fans busy is when the songs will be finally available for listening. As in former years, one-minute snippets from the rehearsals will be published on SVT’s website. Right before each semifinal, the full studio versions will be published as well. These will be removed after the live shows and will be replaced with the live performances of the four entries that did not make it further.

After the last semifinal will be completed, all 32 live performances will be published, and the official CD will be released the Friday before the andra chansen (second chance) round. The official CD is already available to pre-order! Read more about that here.

Melodifestivalen 2014 will start on February 1st in Malmö and will end with the grand final on March 8th in Stockholm.
