The Finnish broadcaster YLE has announced the running order for the semi-final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, Finland’s national final to select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Eight songs have reached the semi-final and will battle it out to join the winners of heats one and two, Softengine and Hanna Sky, for the six remaining places in the final, which takes place on Febraury 1.
Unlike in the heats, the results of the semi-final will be decided by a public vote alone, meaning the jury will play no part in the outcome.
The two songs that finish bottom of the vote will be eliminated from the competition.
Running order
1. MadCraft – Shining bright
2. Hukka ja Mama – Selja
3. Lauri Mikkola – Going down
4. Jasmin Michaela – Kertakäyttösydän
5. Dennis Fagerström – My little honey bee
6. MIAU – God/Drug
7. Mikko Pohjola – Sängyn reunalla
8. Clarissa feat. Josh Standing – Top of the world
The Finnish public has from today (Monday, January 20) to vote for the songs they would like to see reach the final and the voting will close on Saturday during the semi-final.
