Greece decides on 28th February

Hellenic Public Television, ERT, has announced the date of the Greek final. On the 28th of February at Athinon Arena Music Hall, Greece will choose its next representative for the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest. A press conference will take place at the Athens Plaza Hotel on the 7th of February and the three songs that will compete in the final will be presented.

Hellenic National Broadcaster ERT will give a press conference on the 7th of February at the Athens Plaza Hotel to present the three participants who have been invited to compete in the national final: Christos Dantis, Tamta and Sarbel. The representative chosen at the Athinon Arena Music Hall on 28th February will be Greece's 28th representativetothe Eurovision Song Contest. Greece has been participating inthe contestsince 1974 (with the exception of a few years). In 2005 Helena Paparizou offered the first victory to the country with her song My Number One. Thanks to Anna Vissi's 9th place finish last year with Everything, Greece is automatically qualified for the final on the 12th of May.
