The Spanish broadcaster TVE has revealed exclusively to esctoday.com the details concerning the Grand Final of Misión Eurovisión, the Spanish national final, to be telecast next February 20th. The five artists who will reach this round will sing a piece of the five finalist songs each. Moreover, another five well-known artists will perform at this Gala as special guests, singing one finalist entry each.

esctoday.com has the pleasure to announce in exclusive the details about the Final Gala of Misión Eurovisión, that will select the singer and the entry representing Spainon 12th Mayin Helsinki.

On 20th February, the lastfive singers competing to the Grand Final will sing a section of the five finalist themes. This way, viewers will be able to check the style of each contestant performing all the songs classified for this final round.

TVE has also confirmed to esctoday.com that 5 famous Spanish artists will perform at the final as special guests. The public broadcaster has not revealed the names of these singers yet, but we already know that they are performing one finalist song in full.

Remember that tomorrow, January 23rd, the first 10 qualified songs are being announced at the 3rd show of Misión Eurovisión. Five of the mostvotedsongs onlinealong with five songs chosen by the Mision Eurovision jury will then qualify for thesecond round. Fans will be invited again to listen and vote for their favourites. Online polls will be opened again from24thto 28th January.

That date, onlyfive songs will remain the chance to represent Spain.Three of the entries will be chosen by the public via online voting along withtwo more entries chosen by the Misión Eurovisión jury. These five entries will compete in the Grand Final. The Spanish audience will select then which of these themes is representing the Iberian nation at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2006, Las Ketchup finished 21st with Un Bloodymary. Nevertheless, Spain is directly qualified for the final in Helsinki as part of the 'big 4'.
