A task force from the Latvian broadcaster LTV visits Estonia today to talk about the organisation of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The Latvian representatives hope to obtain information on criteria for setting up the task force in Estonia, as well as the issues of the venue, security and tickets and why Estonians rented equipment from Sweden instead of buying it themselves.

June 13 and 14, an eight-member group from the European Broadcasting Union will visit Latvia to meet with the selected executive producer and the team. EBU must decide whether an appropriate candidate hasbeen selected.

LTV prefers late May to hold the contest in 2003. It's very likely that May 17 or May 24 will be the date for next year's contest, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
