As Alexander Rybak closes out of a decade of excess and spectacle we would like to thank you for taking this journey with us as we fondly reflected on our beloved Eurovision Song Contest from a perhaps at times more humorous perspective yet still looking at some of the events that have helped shape the contest into what we have today. The Noughties certainly proved to put the contest back on the map and into people’s consciousness.
