Blue, who represented the United Kingdom at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, have released a Christmas single along with a number of other British groups to help raise money for charity.

This year has been a hectic year for boyband Blue. Back in February, it was revealed that Blue had joined the ITV reality show The Big Reunion; a show where former British bands reunited to perform in a comeback tour. In April this year after a long anticipated wait, Blue released their fourth studio album under the name Roulette which charted in several countries. Along with the release of their album, they then embarked on their Roulette tour where they performed at several countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Mongolia and many more.

But now the boys are back along with fellow pop groups; Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Honeyz and Liberty X. Together they have released a cover of the popular Christmas song I wish it could be Christmas everyday in aid of Text Santa.

Text Santa is an annual charity fundraiser which helps raise money for six UK based charities every year. This year’s donations will go to the following charities; Age UK, Barnardo’s, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices. This year, Text Santa will take place on Friday 20th December. More information about Text Santa can be found here.
