The 2013 Swedish contributing presenter (in the guise of Lynda Woodruff) and performer at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö this year has been a co host SVT television and radio’s Musikhjälpen 2013.

Sarah Dawn Finer was one of three presenters for the annual Swedish fundraiser Musikhjälpen (Music Aid) which took place in Gothenburg from the 9 to 15 December.  This was the 6th year of the event, broadcast on Sveriges Radio and SVT, which had the theme Alla tjejer har rätt att överleva sin graviditet (All girls have the right to survive a pregnancy).

Sarah, whose alter ego Lynda Woodruff is hugely popular with many Eurovision fans, and who famously performed The winner takes it all during the interval at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, joined her co-presenters Kodjo Akolor and Emma Knyckare to host an extravaganza in which many celebrities performed to help raise money for the cause.

Amongst the celebrities involved were Agnes Carlsson, who experienced international success in 2008 with her song Release me.  Agnes also reached the Melodifestivalen final in 2009.

Social media participation was actively encouraged with the Twitter hashtag #mh13.

Musikhjälpen raised 28.426.046 SEK in total (~3.1 million €) – a truly fantastic result!
