The Christmas season this year will be busy days for the former Dutch Eurovision representative Glennis Grace. The Dutch singer has already recorded and released her Christmas album One Christmas Night Only and is now preparing for a Christmas special on Dutch television, where she will perform the songs of the album live.
Glennis Grace released her album One Night Only in 2011. The live album with mostly covers became a huge success in the Netherlands and now Glennis and her team decided to recreate the album with a Christmas theme. For One Christmas Night Only, Glennis performed Christmas classics like All I Want For Christmas Is You, Last Christmas and Driving Home For Christmas. The album features a few new songs as well. Glennis even recorded a duet with the 3JS, the Dutch band that represented The Netherlands in Eurovision in 2011, finishing last in their semi-final with the song Never Alone.
On 23 December, Glennis Grace will perform the songs live one more time in Studio 21 in Hilversum. The concert will be broadcasted on Dutch channel RTL 4 on 24 December. Glennis Grace represented The Netherlands in Eurovision in 2005. She finished 15th in the semi-final with her song My Impossible Dream and did not qualify for the final.
