Cypriot broadcaster CyBC is due to announce the artist who will represent Cyprus in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest very soon, but in the meantime London Greek Radio is asking Eurovision fans to vote on who they'd like to see in Helsinki for the island.
The poll includes Evridiki, who represent Cyprus in both 1992 and 1994, and is believed to be a big favourite to represent them again in 2007, 1998 entrant Mihalis Hatzigiannis, who may be involved in the Greek entry, Andreas Konstantinides who participated in the 2006 Cypriot national final, Annette Artani, who represented Cyprus in 2006, Marina Solonos, who was believed to be the backup choice for CyBC in 2003 and took part in the 2006 national final, and local stars Marianta Pieridi and Vanesa Adamopoulou.
Whoever gets the opportunity to represent Cyprus, they will have to start in the semi final in Helsinki on 10th May due to Cyprus's failure to qualify in 2006.
