Edsilia Rombley, Dutch representative in Helsinki, will release her new album, Meer dan ooit (More than ever) on the 9th February, 2 days before singing 3 or 4 songs from the album during the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival to find the song that she will take to the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki.

Edsilia will sing 3 or 4 songs from her new album, all of which are in Dutch, before picking herself the song she feels most comfortable performing to go to Helsinki. Not all of the songs will be eligiable for the Eurovision Song Contest because some are previously released or performed before 1st October this year. Edsilia has included her 1998 entry, Hemel en aarde as a bonus track on the album.

The Nationaal Songfestival will take place on the 11th February, and will be shown between 20:20 and 22:00 on NOS1.
