The first annual Awards are proving to be a great success. With a little over 24 hours left to vote, it is still too close to call in many of the categories! There are just 10 votes between the leading three contenders for song of the year, and with more than 16,000 votes already received, this is proving to be as close as the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest!!!!! Make sure you register your votes before Midnight tomorrow!

The Awards 2006 are proving incredily popular with our readers! This is your chance to have your say on the songs, singer, composers and National finals that made 2006 a great yearfor Eurovision Song Contest fans.

This is not the big poll, you don't have todo anything at all, other than give your own personalopinions! Whichwas your favourite song? In your opinion, who gave the best performances?The Oscar winners are chosen by knowledgable people in the film industy, and the awards are decided by the people best placed to vote… the readers of the world's leading and most visited independent Eurovision Song Contest website!

The closest battle at the moment is for the 2006 Song of the year category. There are just 10 votes separating the top three songs! The nominations include Hard rock hallelujah, Never let you go, Lejla, Tornero, Invincible, Show me your love, No no never and Je t'adore (written in the order they appear on the poll). In the Eurovision Song Contest performance of the year category, there are just 20 votes separating the top two candidates!
