The runner up of Unser Song für Malmö, LaBrassBanda is on tour in Germany to promote their new album Europa.
After being defeated by Cascada for the honour of representing Germany at Eurovision, LaBrassBanda is back. They are currently at the half way stage of their tour in Germany to promote their music. The tour has taken them to places such as Hannover, Berlin and Leipzig.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the band, LaBrassBanda are a Bavarian brass band that was formed in 2007. The members of the band are Stefan Dettl (Vocals and Trumpet), Andreas Hofmeir (Tuba), Manuel Winbeck (Vocals and Trombone) and Manuel da Coll (Vocals and Drums).
The band’s first international appearance was in Vienna during the UEFA Euro 2008 football championship where they performed to a sell out audience. From their appearance in Austria, the band were given the chance to take part in many German festivals such as sibSTANCIJA over the course of 2009.
