Alexander Rybak, the 2009 Norwegian representative and Eurovision Song Contest winner, is back to the headlines with his new single and video, 5 to 7 years.

The song tells the story of a boy aiming to achieve a number of goals and ask to his girlfriend to wait for him until he has returned to be reunited again (5 to 7 years after).

5 to 7 years also marks a change on his style of music, leaving the folk sound behind and stepping into a much popr sound with an anthem chorus.

You can watch his new video, dedicated to his over 700,000 fans on Facebook, below
