Valentina Monetta the 2014 Sammarinese representative has released a brand new videoclip today L’Amore verrà.

Valentina’s L’Amore verrà is taken from her album La Storia di Valentina Monetta released last spring and the song itself is written by the artist herself.

The video has been filmed  in Rimini and San Marino with the production of SMRTV and directed by Michele Massari with the art direction by Fabrizio Raggi.

In the song Valentina deals with the mystery of love:“sweet baby girl, curious and playful and eager to know already what is love, the love that fills you up and then who knows where it is, if it’s love”

This video comes after her two Eurovision adventures and before her third one in a row when she will represent San Marino for the third year in a row next spring in Copenhagen 2014. She’ll be only the fourth artist in Eurovision history to do so, after Lys Assia (1956-58), Corry Brokken (1956-58) and Udo Jürgens (1964-1966) – all of whom have won the contest!

After Eurovision 2013 Valentina has been busy preparing for her new album that she’s recording to be released in January 2014 including songs written mostly by herself and Ralph Siegel. The new album will obviously include her third Eurovision entry following The Social network song and Crisalide.

She has also had a busy summer travelling to and fro, from the Mediterranean shores all the way to the Baltic sea. She attended both  the 2013 Stockholm Pride and Eurovision Cruise from Helsinki to Tallinn.She has also been busy doing her regular jazz club gigs in Italy – if not kite surfing and relaxing in Sardegna. Next on her agenda is London and preparations for the next year!

Last June SMRTV San Marino, the Sammarinese national broadcaster has confirmed to esctoday.com  that Valentina Monetta will represent San Marino at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark next year.

After the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden the Director of SMRTV revealed his wish to invite Valentina Monetta once again to represent San Marino.

A pre agreement was signed today at the SMRTV headquarters in San Marino by Valentina Monetta,Mr. Ralph Siegel(producer and composer)Mr. Fabrizzio Raggi ( artistic director) andMr. Carlo Romeo ( Director of SMRTV). Mr.Alessandro Capicchioni ( Head of Delegation of San Marino for Eurovision) was also present during the signing of the accord.

It will be the 3rd consecutive time that Valentina will fly the Sammerinese flag at the Eurovision Song Contest along with Mr. Ralph Siegel.  Valentina represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 and 2013.

San Marino debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 and is yet to win the event. The country has never qualified for the final. On the last 2 occasions San Marino was 14th and 11th in its semifinal. Will Valentina succeed in taking San Marino to the grand final in 2014?
