Yesterday evening, the esctoday.com editorial team touched down in Romania in preparation for coverage of the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, just in time for the official welcome reception at the Bucharest Marriott hotel. At the event, the participants performed their songs and finally go to meet their fellow participants. In true Eurovision spirit, everyone got along very well, singing and dancing along to all of the songs again as the members of the 15 participating delegations, including the performers parents, broadcasters, choreographers, vocal coaches and many more people mingled and got to know one another.
Later today, the rehearsals for the 4th annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest begin. Esctoday.com will of course be reporting live from the press centre at the Sala Polivalenta, where the show will be broadcast live on Saturday.
