Serbian two time Eurovision representative Zeljko Joksimovic will be a judge in the Serbian version of the internationally acclaimed musical show X Factor.
Zeljko Joksimovic will be a jury member of one of the most popular singing television shows in the world, “X Factor,” which will be broadcast for the first time in Serbia. During a special press conference, which was held few days back, all the members of the jury were officially presented to the gathered press : Zeljko Joksimovic ( Serbia Montenegro 2004, Serbia 2012), the famous Serbian star Emina Jahovic ( Serbian Eurovision national final 2010), composers Kiki Lesendrić and Kristina Kovač.
–I have high expectations and I’m sure this show will give birth to new stars that haven’t had a chance to be discovered to the audience. This really is their big chance – said Zeljko Joksimovic on this occasion.
Zeljko Joksimovic is one of the most important, most respected and most popular singers and composers of the Balkans. To the European audience he is best known and reconized for having represented his home nation Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest on 2 ocassions : 2004 with Lane Moje and in 2012 with Nije ljubav stvar, achieving excellent results: 2nd and 3rd respectively. He also co hosted the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade and was the man behind the 2008 Serbian Eurovision entry Oro. Zeljko was also behind the 2006 Bosnian Eurovision entry Lejla, which achieved a 3rd place in Athens.
The multi talented Serbian superstar has competed and taken part in many national and international festivals where he has achieved fame, success and glory.
Zeljko has a great repertoire behind him having recorded many albums with dozens of hits like Michelle, Lane Moje, Dođi sutra, Ljubavi, Ledja o Ledja, Nije ljubav stvar and Ludak kao ja .
He has successfully worked as a composer for many movies and TV series. Zeljko Joksimovic is also known as a mentor to many successful artists today in Serbia and the region. He owns and runs Minacord musical production.
“X Factor” in Serbia starts airing on Tuesday, 22 on October on Pink TV while the super final of the show is scheduled for late February.
