Kënga Magjike, one of the most important Albanian song festivals took place on 19th November, in the Pallati I Kongresit in Tirana. Ledina Çelo who represented Albania in 2005 with Nesër shkoj , won Second Prize as well as Best Performance Award.

Kënga Magjike is a very popular song festival in Albania that attracts many famous Albanian singers from all over the world. At first two hundred and seventeen songs were submitted in total, fifty nine of which qualified to the two Semi Finals on November 17 and 18, and from them ninenteen made it to the Final. Apart from the great names of the participants, what makes Kënga Magjike particularly popular is that all genres of music are represented from Ethno to Rap.

Veteran Kosovar singer and composer Armend Regjepagiçi won first place and the group West Side won third place. Helena Risteska, who represented FYR Macedonia in Athens 2006 with Ninanaja was a guest star who performed for the Albanian audience.
