Today, the Danish broadcaster (DR) has announced that Copenhagen will host the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in May. The officIal slogan for Eurovision 2014 was also revealed today– ‘Join Us!’

The Eurovision is still a bit far away, however the preparations for next year have already begun, and the Danish team came up with the idea to unite the people with the slogan as well. Just think back how Sweden chose ‘We Are One’ last year, and the 2010 slogan ‘Share the Moment’ from the Norwegian host – Denmark decided to follow the Scandinavian way of uniting people.

More than a 100 million people all around the world – not only from Europe – are expected to watch Europe’s biggest music contest next spring – joining together for a week of Europe’s biggest musical party!

DR also suggests that we will be able to join them online as well, with a special focus on social media. Last year’s contest also featured many pictures, videos and interviews online, and this will continue this season as well!
