London Greek Radio, Europe's largest Greek radio station based outside Greece celebrated its 17th Birthday Party this weekend. Hundreds of LGR listeners attended the dinner and dance. The highlight of hte event was this year's Eurovision Song Contest national finalist in cyprus, Andreas Konstantinidies, and his performance of Gia Sena.
The up and coming Greek star, who had arguably the biggest hit of the summer in Greece and Cyprus with the song Gia Sena, peformed the hit in a mini-concert performance at the party. Athens based comedian Giannis Mpournelis also gave a performance at the party.
Last night, he appeared at Club Prive in North London to give a great performance, meet British fans and sign autographs. Konstantinides finished fifth in the Cypriot final this year after qualifying from the semi-finals.
