Seems like the sky is the limit for the 25 year old Russian artist! He has been nominated for Best Russian Artist as well as International Star at the forthcoming World Music Awards 2006, taking place on Wednesday 15th November at London's Earls Court. He will be performing as well alongside Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Andrea Boccelli and many more global superstars.

After walking away from this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards holding theBest RegionalAct award, he is headed for another victory as he has been nominated for Best Russian Artist as well as International Star at the forthcoming World Music Awards 2006. The ceremony will take place on November 15 at Earl’s Court London and it will be hosted by Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan.

This year’s Awards will feature a rare appearance by Michael Jackson who will be performing Thriller. Michael will be presented with the Chopard Diamond Music Award given to artists who have sold over 100 million albums over the course of their careers. Unlike other awards, World Music Awardsin general are given to artists based on their worldwide sales. Best selling artists from each major country are honoured as well with National Awards.

Other artists that have represented Russia in World Music Awards since 1993 were by Allah Pugachyova, Philipp Kirkorov (1995), Kristina Orbakaite (daughter of Allah Pugachyova), Vladimir Presnyakov, Alsu( 2000), Oleg Gazmanov, Dmitry Malikov, Valery Leont'ev, Laima Vaikule, Alexander Malinin, Agata Kristi, and Tatu.
