Mihai Trăistariu's song Tornero is a success in Finland and Sweden. Tornero entered the Finnish singles charts at chart position 8, and it now sits at position 40 on the Swedish singles charts after peaking at number 21. In addition Mihai's full album is scheduled to launch in Scandinavia early next month.

The Swedish division of Warner Brothers Records approached Roton, Mihai's Romanian Record Company, and asked to release his full album Tornero in Scandinavia. Of course Mihai and his record company agreed, and the album is now scheduled to launch there in early December.

The Romanian entry Tornero sung by Mihai Trăistariu reached a fourth place finish at the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Athens; many viewers were duly impressed by Mihai's clear voice and 5-octave range. After the contest the song was popular on radio stations and in dance clubs in Greece, Cyprus and Malta; it peaked at number 4 on the singles charts in Greece.
