The Czech Republic's plans for participation in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest have taken a step further with the annoucement that their national final will be called Eurosong 2007, and the publishing of the rules for the selection programme. The final will be broadcast on March 10th 2007 at 20:00 local time.
The national final will feature ten entries to be selected by IFPI Radio 50 charts. The songs can be released only after 1st October 2006. It would therefore seem that the Czech entry is likely to feature 10 pre-released songs from the Czech music scene.
The selection process will now run through to the middle of January. An announcement by national broadcaster, ČT, will then be made detailing the ten songs and participants that will partipicate in the nation's first final.
