Boris Novkovic begins his �First twenty� tour

Celebrating the first 20 years of his career, 2005 Croatian Eurovision Song Contest participant, Boris Novkovic starts his First twenty (Mojih prvih dvadeset) tour in Zagreb. The first concert will be held tonight, at the popular Lisinski music hall, home of the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. So far the dates are set for the concerts in Skopje (November 21st) and Belgrade (November 24th). Other dates are soon to be announced.

Boris Novkovic participated at the 2005Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv with the song Vukovi umiru sami andfinished in11th place. Together with Franjo Valentic, he composed the music for this year’s Croatian entry Moja Stikla, performed by Severina. The song finished in a credible 13th place in Athens. His father, Djordje Novkovic composed the music for the first ever Croatian entry as an independent country, Don’t ever cry performed by the band Put at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The song finished in 15th place in Millstreet.

Boris Novkovic is one of the most popular Croatian artists. He has released fifteen albums, including two ‘the best of’ compilations. One of the highlights of tonight’s concert will be Severina’s performance of Moja Stikla in rock arrangements which Boris made especially for this occasion.
