Spain: ESDM going strong after Eurovision

ESDM, the 2013 Spanish Eurovision representatives  performed La Fiesta de la Ilusion in Madrid last month. The Spanish band is still going strong in their homeland after their return from the Eurovision Song Contest.

ONCE, the national organization for the blind and handicapped in Spain celebrated its 75th anniversary along with the 25th anniversary of its foundation yesterday, a massive celebration with a concert La Fiesta de la Ilusion was held in Madrid. Many Spanish artists performed at the concert: David Bisbal, Pastora Soler, ESDM, Nena Daconte,, La Unión, Rozalén, Ara Malikian, la Coral Allegro, Los Payasos de la Tele, Motxila 21. The show was aired on TVE’s La 2 last month.

ESDM were selected via an internal selection to represent Spain at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo. Despite achieving a poor result in Malmo, coming 2nd last the Spanish group is busy touring Spain and giving concerts throughout the country. They flew the Spanish flag in Malmo with Contigo Hasta El Final.  They have a series of concerts lined up during the summer
