2005 Eurovision Song Contest participant Javine has failed in her latest attempt to reconquer the charts in the United Kingdom. According to the daily metro's Green Room,”the Daddy Cool star blames the failure of her new single, Don't let the morning Come, on the lack of radio airtime! In her first commercial release since Touch my fire reached number 18 in the charts and 22nd place at the music competition in Kyiv, Don't let the morning come is a collaboration with Soul Avengers and has been a dance floor success but that did not transfer into radio airplay or download sales. She follow's fellow former United Kingdom participant Gina G, who missed out on the top 40 due to poor download sales, despite being around the number 20 spot on hard copy sales.
Javine has signed a deal with dance label Positiva and will release all new material through this label. Her new album is expected to be released early 2007 and will be her second album, showcasing her new dance sound.
