In the Norwegian media, the sudden death of Jan Werner Danielsen at just 30 years of age has received lots of attention. This morning in Oslo, Elisabeth Andressen, his duet-partner at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, sangwith him for the very last last time. She stood up in the church and sang You raised me up while Jan Werner's voice came out from the speakers. Everyone following the ceremony was very enthusiased by the performance, giving standing ovations. Click here to see her rendition and for vg.no's video coverage of the funeral.

Elisabeth said after the funeral: "I was only thinking of Werner. Nothing will ever be asemotionally intense to me,as what Iexperienced today. Werner is leaving a big empty hole behind him, now he passed away, and I'm going to miss him really much. But I do believe it was a good thing, that everyone got the chance to hear him".

Jan Werner Danielsen & Elisabeth Andreassen finished 6th at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, singing Duett.
