Three times winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, 1987 and 1992 with 'Whats Another Year, 1987 with 'Hold me Now', and 1992 as songwriter of 'Why Me?', Johnny Logan may represent Ireland once again.

Speaking live on RTÉ chat show 'Tubridy Tonight,' Johnny Logan when asked, 'Would he represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest again?' said he would, based on that Brian Kennedy in Athens 2006 'opened the path' to set a good professional trend for Ireland in future years.

He believed that if 'everything was right, and that everyone was in agreement', including an appropriate song that would suit him, that he would represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest again if asked.

Also he performed his winning song in 1987 'Hold me Now,' live.
