The Latvian entry for next year's Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen on 24th February 2007. This was announced by the Latvian broadcaster LTV.
Just like in recent years, there will be two semi finals, to be held on 27th January and 3rd February. The deadline for submitting a song for Eirodziesma 2007 is on 20th November 2006.
Last year, Vocal group Cosmos finished 16th in Athens. This means that after an absence of one year, Latvia returns to the semi final again in 2007.
