Tina Karol, who represented Ukraine in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, has received a gold disc for her album Show me your love, which also contains her song contest entry with the same title. The gold status means that more than 100,000 copies of the album have been sold.
Tina Karol explained that the success came as a surprise even to her. After her appearance in the contest, she understood the 'main' song of the album to be quite popular but didn't expect the album to be so popular as well. Nevertheless, the gold status is a real pleasure for her and she wants to say thank you to those people who helped her in the process of the CD creating, to those, who supported her and first of all to all her faithful friends.
Tina added: "I love you with all my heart and my songs are always for you. This is our common success!"
In Athens, Tina Karol finished 7th both in the semifinal and the final presenting Show me your love.
